Well.. its been a little while hasnt it…
I was contracted by a lighting company last August to shoot their product catalog. They ended up hiring me full time to shoot their products for web marketing, sales, and promotional material. They have been keeping me pretty busy and I havent had a lot of time to work on my personal projects. Now that im getting a breather from work, Im finally starting my personal projects again, and will be making much more frequent updates….

Janelle approached me a few weeks ago. We where discussing some unique and interesting locations to shoot at. I mentioned the Sybaris, and she loved the Idea. Janelle was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has such an outstanding personality. Her imagery is only surpassed by who she is. It is really hard to grasp that idea, but after one conversation with her you would know exactly what I am talking about. We keep in touch and plan on working together soon….

There is one thing holding you back from having beautiful, sexy, or sensual photos of yourself…
Its not your weight.. its not your looks.. its YOU..
YOU are the one choosing to not work with me…
YOU are holding yourself back from creating images everyone can admire…
Its YOU… not your looks….. not your appearance…
The only difference between the woman in my images, and the woman who admire them..
The woman in my images get in front of my camera… the others dont…..

….and you know you are standing where it is going to land…..
Do yourself a favor, and move somewhere else…. especially if it is your first time next to a large helicopter landing. The movies do not really show how intense the wind actually is…
Of coarse the movies do not show photographers standing right underneath them either.

You can see the dirt and debris in the last one.  You can not see the wind that I thought was going to strip the clothes off of my body.

Jasmin approached me a few weeks ago. She saw some work I did with some friends of hers last year, and she wanted to use me as her photographer. It turns out, this was her first photoshoot, and I was her first photographer. We have been speaking about ideas for weeks, and I was really excited to finally get her in front of my camera. NOW!!!.. It never ceases to amaze me… out of all the ideas we spoke about… a “head shot” was not one of them.. but low and behold.. This is my absolute favorite image of the shoot. I couldn’t wait to post this image as I have not finished processing her order. Ill have more images soon enough.. but this one.. Is absolutely breath taking…

On my way home from the gym last night I could not help but notice the sky. There was a full moon, and the clouds really added a dramatic look. I tried to hard to make it home as fast as possible to grab my camera. Of course, by the time I got my camera the clouds shifted and lost the look I was hoping to capture. So I just drove to the park and just sat there for an hour waiting for another could formation to come through again….

The funny thing though. I never have any issues holding my camera steady, but since I had JUST worked out, my arms where really shaky, and I had to use a garbage can in the park as a tripod..

(On a side note.. It never hit me that one could get a lens flare from the moon)

Johnny is a good buddy of mine. Ive been trying to photograph his car, but he is doing a lot of work to it. I was going to book a model to shoot with his car when he told me he pulled the engine for a rebuild. He texted me the other day and I had asked him if the engine was back in the car. He responded with a cellphone image snap shot of the complete rebuild of the engine still on the stand… It looked good so I invited myself over. Packed up the gear, and went to his place..

He was not expecting a photoshoot of his engine, so I really did not give him time to really polish the chrome, but I did not want to wait….

Shantel was able to come through again for an other shoot.  Im really trying to think outside the box for my images, and really create images from within me.. not for what I think others want to see…

Lisa was awesome to work with.  She had never modeled before for a photoshoot.   Even though we discussed ideas before she got here.. we spoke about a few more when she got here.  I was moving furniture around and moved the two sofas together, and i was like… we have to do this.. and here is the result…
